Automatic connection for hardwares is now available with the bridge program v4.2

Automatic connection is added as an option on the bridge program. When it’s selected, the bridge will detect and connect the switch panel, standby gauges and pedestal automatically every time when flight simulator launches or “Refresh serial port lists” button is pressed. It also makes our full C172 panel a turn-key-solution.

Update to bridge 4.2 still does not fix the XP12 elevation bug while using real weather. G1000 PFD still shows elevation hundreds to a thousand feet off. Please, can we get this fixed? It’s unflyable!

To follow up: Bridge 4.2.1 fixes this elevation issue — apparently it was due to X-Plane’s use of non-standard temperature lapse rate (just like the real world!). Lapse rate is now included in the G1000 calculation so the Simionic G1000 matches (within a few feet) the Laminar altitude. Thank you!

This has nothing to do with the update. I think it’s a new install. Please install SimConnect library. You can find the download link on our download page.

Hello. I am trying to install the bridge and PFD on a iMac running Ventura 13.5.2. and an iPad Pro. I dropped the bridge in the Plugins X_plane 12. I am getting the following message:
G1000Bridge-X_ Mac-4.2.0.xpl can’t be opened because Apple cannot check if it is malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Please contact the developer for more information.
Please let me know what I am doing wrong or what do I need to do. Much appreciated. Andrei

I can not even get the bridge to work in Xplane12. I have no issues in XPlane 11 but when I try to connect in XP12 It tries to launch and then says it timed out. Any thoughts?

Are you talking about the G1000 connection? No difference has been made in this version. Please take a look at the network connection. Or maybe check the firewall to make sure that nothing is blocking XP12 from accessing the network.

For hardware you mention xplane and fsx, what about 2020 for the switch panel and standby gauges? Will your FFB yoke connect too in the near future to the bridge? That would be highly interesting to have the full panel connected to one solution…

Yes, the hardware also works with MSFS or FS2020. For the FFB yoke, there is no plan to implement the driver into the bridge for now.

I am not sure when it started, but the configuration file for the G1000 bridge for X-Plane is replaced by the default/blank at each use.

May I have the courtesy of a reply; all input mapping entries now revert to blank on each launch of X-Plane. Are you going to fix this?

Sorry Maurice, I didn’t notice that. I will look into it and make it fixed.

I have a problem with the bridge 4.2 on windows 10. It says something about side by side problem and does not start. Couldn´t find any solution in the web or on this side.

Please download and install SimConnect library either on our download page or anywhere by googling. It’s needed by MSFS. This is also covered on our FAQ page.
