I can’t wait for this, it is exactly what I am looking for. I was about to start building my own panel. Please make this happen. Your products look top notch and amazing!!

Can I use just 1 ipad and with both PFD & MFD opened up and switch back & forth between them (on FSX-Steam)…??

It doesn’t seem to work. The PFD works fine, but the MFD no.

No, you cannot. The MFD only connects with PFD. You need 2 iPad to run them at the same time.

OK…. but can I “connect” just the MFD & run it with FSX..?? (I’m no good at this stuff)

No, unfortunately you can’t. MFD doesn’t connect to FSX directly, only through PFD.

    Hi,

What will the dimensions be so that I can see if it will fit in my current flight sim set up.

Could you clarify : If on my compatible ipad , I buy & install the MFD app ONLY , it will NOT work . In order to have a working MFD , I MUST have the PFD as well , on a separate Ipad ?
In other words minimum hardware requirements to have a working MFD is 2 Ipads, one ipad running PFD ,one running MFD ?

You need 2 iPads to get MFD connected to PFD. And PFD is the only one which is able to connect to FSX or X-Plane. So, if you need MFD to cooperate with PFD(e.g. fly the plane) or work with FSX or X-Plane then you will need 2 iPads. However, without connected to PFD, you can still operate MFD like entering a flight plan, go through the pages or check airport information.

Checking 1) If there is an update on timeline for availability and 2) if the backup analog gauges can be purchased separately (Love your switches, but already built my own) 🙂

Hi Evan, Thanks for asking. There is no timeline yet, but we are working hard to bring it to the market. Yes, the standby gauges will be available to purchase separately.

Will the backup airspeed gauge be configurable to reflect 182T V speeds?

In the current design this can only be done by us before shipping to users.

It would be nice if this was configurable, while the delta between the C172 and C182 vSpeeds is not that much, but I am looking at transitioning to the Cirrus SR22 IRL and the ability to change the vSpeeds would be more important requirement.

On a somewhat related note, have you considered adding the Cirrus to your apps and building the Cirrus center panel stack for your product line?

          2. Koalar (Post author)

Not sure for whether we will go further with Cirrus. But we may think about it.

    Hi,

I love the Simionic Gera. It’s first class.

It would be nice to know when the new items will be available. I’m currently re-building my flight sim and have noticed that there are other companies out there now producing switch panels etc.

I don’t want to go down the route of buying elsewhere, but may have to if the new items aren’t going to be available soon.

    Keep up the good work.

Thanks Dylan. We are working full throttle on it. An estimation for it to come to the market is about 4-5 months later.
